We are looking for a senior finance leader to take full ownership of our regional finance function and develop it into a strong, business-driving capability.
This is not a role focused only on keeping finance processes running and producing accurate numbers. We already have plenty of data and reporting. What we need is a leader who can turn those numbers into insights, sound decisions, and improved profitability.
An important part of the mandate will be to develop the regional finance function towards an AI operating model, therefore we are looking for a finance leader with the ambition, practical understanding and transformation capability to build a modern finance organization. We aim to build a faster, more intelligent and more scalable finance function that spends less time assembling numbers and more time improving decisions.
So, the question you will ask is not only "Are the numbers correct?" but "What should we do differently to create more value?"
The role covers two equally important areas:
- Business Finance: performance management, forecasting, profitability, capital allocation, pricing, funding and decision support.
- Financial accounting & reporting: reliable reporting, accounting, consolidation, controls, operational excellence, governance and compliance.
What You Will Do:
- Lead and develop the Finance function. Regional Finance. Priorities. Quality & Delivery.
- Drive Business performance management efforts. Performance Analysis, Insights & Actions. Business Planning & Decisions. Growth, Profitability & Capital balance.
- Ensure strong Financial accounting & reporting process. Closing. Consolidation. External audits. Taxes. Regulatory reporting. Compliance.
- Operational Excellence. Technology. Data.
How You Will Make a Difference:
- You go beyond explaining historical results and actively shape future performance.
- You identify the economic drivers behind the numbers.
- You constructively challenge commercial, operational and investment decisions.
- You translate complex financial information into clear management choices.
- You take ownership of outcomes, not just of finance processes and reports.
What You Will Bring:
- A university degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
- At least 10 years of relevant finance experience, including in leadership roles
- A flexible, hands-on approach: comfortable moving between detail and the big picture, working across country and regional teams, and confidently advising and challenging senior stakeholders.
- Experience leading and developing both business finance and financial reporting functions
- Strong analytical skills, advanced in Excel & BI tools (e.g. Power BI). Experience with ERP systems & their development is an advantage.
- Fluency (core concepts, application in daily Finance) in mainstream AI tools is a must.
- Strong experience in a regulated financial environment, such as banking, non-bank financial institutions, leasing or similar
- Advanced expertise in financial engineering, including funding structures, capital and tax planning, portfolio economics, pricing, profitability, risk-return assessment and scenario modelling
- Experience working with external auditors in a group or international reporting environment.
- A track record in a dynamic, fast-growing, performance-driven business.
- Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
