Union Aviation provides a wide range of business aviation solutions in aircraft sales and acquisitions, aircraft management, and charter sales, delivering outstanding service to its clients. Employees are our most valuable asset, and therefore we are looking for a highly motivated, educated, and talented individual to join our team as a Flight Dispatcher / Operations Control Officer.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintaining active flight monitoring
- Arranging overflight and landing permits
- Coordinating ground handling services and airport slots
- Flight planning in accordance with the company's flight operations manuals and corporate policies
- Analysing operational conditions and exploring any opportunities that may benefit or restrict operational capabilities in order to optimise flight operations processes
- Acting as a liaison between flight crews and internal departments to ensure smooth operation
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- High motivation and true interest in the aviation industry
- Mature and stress-resistant personality with good communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Goal-oriented: focusing efforts on achieving high-quality results
- Excellent prioritisation and coordination skills in a fast-paced environment
- Teamwork: flexible approach and willingness to collaborate with others to achieve corporate goals
- Keep up with the most recent innovations in flight planning and dispatching strategy
- Readiness to work alternative schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Previous experience in Flight Planning will be considered an advantage
EXCELLENT ENGLISH (BOTH WRITTEN AND SPOKEN). GOOD LATVIAN LANGUAGE KNOWLEDGE IS A MUST.
