We're on the lookout for a talented member to join our team as a SENIOR IT SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR.
As an IT System Administrator you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our server infrastructure, application installations and updates, daily monitoring of information systems, analyzing server and application log files, and implementing measures to enhance system performance. Additionally, you will be involved in network and firewall administration, as well as maintaining technical resources of our information systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and update server operating systems (MS Windows, Linux).
- Install and update applications, perform daily monitoring of information systems, analyze server and application log files, and implement system improvement measures.
- Administer computer networks and firewalls (MikroTik, FortiGate, pfSense).
- Maintain the technical resources of our information systems.
- Prepare documentation, specifications, and user manuals.
- Resolve specific issues and tasks as assigned.
- Install and maintain necessary software on servers.
- Perform system diagnostics and troubleshoot information system problems.
- Perform data recovery from backups according to instructions.
- Ensure prompt resolution of information system and computer hardware failures.
- Provide support and participate in various IT projects development and implementation.
What we expect:
- Education in the field of Information Technology.
- Knowledge of data transmission network principles (firewalls, switches, VLANs).
- Familiarity with IPSec, BGP, VRRP, and their configuration options.
- Understanding of Wireguard, OpenVPN, FortiGuard operation principles.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and related services (DNS, DHCP, Group Policy).
- Familiarity with Linux server operating systems.
- Knowledge of Zabbix or other monitoring systems.
- Knowledge of ELK Stack or GrayLog and their configuration options.
- Familiarity with IIS, NGINX, APACHE, HAPOXY, TOMCAT and their configuration options.
- Desired knowledge of SQL server (Microsoft, Postgre) operation principles, configuration, and administration options.
- Desired knowledge of Nakivo backup software operation principles and configuration options.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to assess priorities, organize work independently, and make prompt decisions.
