We are building new software to support a multitude of processes in the field of genomic services – forensics, agro-science, pharmaceutical, environmental, food, and others.

Technical Experience ☕️
• You have a background in Software engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, System Administration, DevOps, or in a similar role
• You have excellent programming and scripting skills
• You love to automate everything you can to unburden yourself and colleagues from time-consuming or manual tasks
• You understand the importance of data and statistics and have experience in implementing best practices and tracking results for system security, scalability, and performance
• You are familiar with Chaos Engineering
• You are curious and enjoy learning and trying out new technologies and approaches
• You are used to creating and maintaining documentation
• You feel comfortable communicating with stakeholders of various levels

What you would be doing 👨‍💻
• You will partner with other SREs, DevOps, and Software Engineers to ensure the quality and performance of our systems
• You will gather and analyze metrics from both operating systems and applications to assist in performance tuning and fault finding
• You will work with development teams to improve services through thorough testing and release procedures, including Chaos Engineering
• You will participate in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning
• You will create sustainable systems and services through automation and uplifts
• You will ensure that the software we make meets security, SLA, and performance requirements
• You take part in system and application monitoring and take part in managing incidents and outages
• You will participate in improvement projects and initiatives
