What you will need:
- 1-2+ years of accounting experience;
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics or a last year student within this area;
- Fluentcy in English (both verbal and written) to communicate with colleagues in Europe;
- Fluency in German (both verbal and written, at least C1 level) to communicate with BU Germany;
- Experience with ERP (SAP, JDE experience will be considered as an advantage);
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
- Precise, analytical, organized, solution oriented and stress resistant personality;
- Self-motivated, positive, and team player attitude.
Overview:
Strategic Staffing Solutions' customer is a global convenience and mobility company with a strong presence in more than 20 countries. With thousands of employees worldwide, it operates a large network of convenience stores and fuel stations, serving millions of customers every day.
Since their Accounting team is growing, they are seeking a German-speaking Accountant for a DACH region.
What you will do:
- Perform daily, weekly and monthly franchise accounting procedures for Dealer sites in Germany
- Respond to queries from site managers, representatives of business units (BU) and/or external partners if required;
- Check, prepare and process journal entries, based on information received from BU and other partners;
- Answer questions from other Company units on processed financial records;
- Perform month end closing procedures, resolving any kind of discrepancies and errors;
- Contribute to process improvement projects.

- Salary range: 1,700 - 1,900 EUR gross + annual bonus
